Free Camping near Phoenix, Arizona - Robbins Butte BLM
Are you looking for a free spot to camp? Just outside of Phoenix, Arizona in the valley of the sun is an area known as Robbins Butte. Free camping is available south of Buckeye, Arizona in an area that is managed by BLM. They have a 14 day camping limit and no services.

To find this area, travel south from Interstate 10 on Arizona State Route 85 west of Buckeye. After crossing the Gila River Bridge, take the first right. The turn is well marked. There are 3 primary areas open to camping and camping with a travel trailer.

The first two areas are within a mile of the turn off from State Route 85, and if you want a location a little more remote, try the third camping area.

Things to note:
Cell service is average and so is Data access.
Off Road vehicles may frequent area on weekends, as well as people using the area for gun target practice. About 20 miles from services. Coyotes are prevalent in the area at night but should keep their distance. Can be very hot to camp with no shade Mid May to September.
